Star 再一次在 POS 打印機市場展示無可比擬的打印技術。全新的 TSP043熱敏打印機，客戶能以入門級的價錢，便能購買一臺高速，高質量，多功能打印機。
TSP043 打印速度高達每秒250毫米，比 TSP650 打印速度提高了80%，若以 STAR 的「每分鐘出票數(RPM)」來計算打印速度，在并口接口的系統下，TSP043 能夠在一分鐘內打印出35張每張有20列文字的票據，大大減少了顧客等候時間。
STAR TSP043 應用范圍廣泛，能符合不同的打印需要，是真正的全能打印機。隨機的可調式導紙片，客戶可因應業務需求，選擇80毫米或58毫米寬的紙卷。在票務和條碼標簽打印方面，TSP043 可打印厚至 102m 的卷紙，小巧的設計，更能節省空間，可水平或豎放。雖然體積變小了，卻沒有影響其多完化的功能及其可靠性。強化了的自動切紙器，自動切紙刀壽命增加至100萬次，MCBF最少為六千萬行。TSP043 就如 TSP100III FuturePRNT 一樣，購買時已配備了完整的安裝工具，客戶可以更快捷，更簡易地在現存的系統上進行安裝，而不需改需任何軟件。
